Authorities recover the body of 22-year-old Viterbo University graduate student Eliotte Heinz from the Mississippi River after she vanished while walking home from a bar in La Crosse.

Eliotte Heinz, a 22-year-old graduate student in Wisconsin was found dead on Wednesday after going missing over the weekend, officials said.

Eliotte Heinz has been found dead in the Mississippi River, the La Crosse Police Department wrote in a tragic update in the missing college student's case in Wisconsin. The cause of death is not yet clear.
