For the Golden State Warriors, they had an interesting Summer League as they posted a 3-2 record in Las Vegas after going 1-2 during the NBA California Classic. Golden State’s roster was headlined by second-round picks Alex Toohey and Will Richard but it was an undrafted free agent who stood out for them.

Warriors draft picks Alex Toohey and Will Richard unsurprisingly garnered the most attention from the team’s NBA summer league roster. There was intrigue in the development of Taran Armstrong, too. People wanted to see what kind of player Jackson Rowe could be the for the Warriors this season,

Jackson Rowe led the Warriors with 14 points, and rookie Will Richard was a two-way standout with 12 points and two steals. After scoring 22 against Utah, Gabe Madsen put in seven points on 3-of-3 shooting in Golden State’s second consecutive victory. The Warriors will take on Toronto at 7 p.m. PT on Thursday.

You almost couldn’t turn on a summer league game without coming across a former state college basketball player, as UConn and Yale combined to have 10 former players competing in Las Vegas.

The Dallas Mavericks made the not-so-surprising decision to shut down Cooper Flagg earlier this month following his second game of NBA Las Vegas Summer League. Two starts was more than enough for management to see that Flagg is ready to go as a rookie and projected impact player in the Mavericks' lineup.
