The San Francisco 49ers placed wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Ricky Pearsall on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list entering training camp, the team announced Friday.

Injuries plagued the San Francisco 49ers in recent seasons, and things are not off to a great start before training camp. The 49ers placed six players on their active/physically unable to perform list,

Ricky Pearsall, who missed most of OTAs with a hamstring injury but was expected to be ready for the start of training camp, will now open camp on the physically unable to perform list, along with five other Niners including Brandon Aiyuk.
