The Pittsburgh Steelers are entering week two of their 2025 training camp, but one of their most intriguing rookies won’t be with the organization.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and general manager Omar Khan seem to think they’ve got a Super Bowl roster. There’s no other explanation for the moves Khan has made, adding players like Darius Slay Jr., Jonnu Smith and Jalen Ramsey, in addition to signing 41-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Outside of the move to sign Rodgers, Pittsburgh went out and acquired superstar wide receiver DK Metcalf in a blockbuster trade with the Seattle Seahawks. He was also signed to a massive extension.
The rookie fits in well as a pure runner already, but the second week of minicamp in pads will allow him to prove he can do much more than just be an early-down runner.
As the Steelers arrive at training camp, Pittsburgh's newest CB Jalen Ramsey was named to the NFL Top-100 list of 2025.

The Steelers landed both Ramsey and Smith in a trade with the Dolphins that sent free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to Miami. Talks about the amount of gas that the 30-year-old veteran had in the tank will quickly starting to vanish as he continues to make those types of plays with ease.
