Yum! Brands Inc. will promote Chief Financial Officer Chris Turner to run the fast-food company after its current chief executive David Gibbs retires after almost 37 years.

KFC’s parent company, Yum! Brands has appointed Chris Turner as the new chief executive officer (CEO), effective from 1 October 2025.

Fast food giant Yum! Brands will have a new CEO later this year, when CFO Chris Turner will take over the top job from the retiring David Gibbs.
