General Motors has decided to make standard for five years the convenience of remote door-locking and remote engine starts through its OnStar RemoteLink Mobile App.

GM's maintenance program will cover most 2014 retail model Buick, Chevrolet and GMC vehicles for two years or 24,000 miles.
