18 Oculus today introduced a program called App Lab, a new effort which will allow developers to distribute their VR apps on Quest without being subject to a quality review ‘curation’ process.

With App Lab, developers on Oculus Quest and Quest 2 will be able to safely distribute apps without need of sideloading. Check out the full build 25.0 patch notes here.

The beta is open to anyone that has a Quest 2 or Quest Pro and has installed the latest Meta Quest updates. Roblox got an Open Beta VR app that's available now to Meta Quest 2 and Quest Pro HMD users.
