To enable the classic old legacy Search Box in Explorer on Windows 10, you can tweak the Registry or use Mach2. Do it if you do not like current default behavior.

Windows 11 File Explorer comes with an advanced search feature that lets you search for only video files with specific names and formats.

Search: Search mode is accessed by clicking the search icon or using the Ctrl + F keyboard shortcut. When opened, the search box is automatically focused so users can start typing immediately.
