The New York Giants are among those around the NFL community reacting to Monday night's mass shooting in Manhattan.

During a recent interview, NY Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers touched on the relationship he's built with Russell Wilson through the early days of camp.

Nabers was absent from the team's voluntary activities earlier this offseason and now the Giants are being proactive about addressing the issue as needed.

That set the Giants on a search for his replacement, which would eventually lead to the signing of Gunner Olszewski, whom they re-signed on Monday. But he wasn't the only consideration. The Giants worked out a total of five players before re-signing Olszewski.
