(Reuters) -Shares of HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, India's top private lenders by market capitalisation, rose nearly 2% on Monday, after their quarterly results inspired confidence about their ability to maintain healthy loan growth.

As quarterly results are out for Bank Nifty giants like HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, traders are capitalising on result movements. At the same time, long-term investors wait for numbers before making their investment moves.
