Indiana Pacers President, Kevin Pritchard, told news media that Tyrese Haliburton will miss the entire 2025 – 2026 season. He was also very vocal about letting Haliburton play the rest of the NBA Finals with a strained calf.

That's not a surprise, the Pacers aren't going to push him to return. Pritchard said he regrets letting Haliburton play after his calf injury.

Indiana Pacers executive Kevin Pritchard said he believes the Pacers would have won the NBA Finals if point guard Tyrese Haliburton did not get hurt.

"The Pacers may have drafted Kam Jones to provide more depth at point guard, but two-way contract guard RayJ Dennis ran the point for most of Thursday's game and looked more than comfortable in the Pacers' high-octane offense as both a distributor and a scorer," wrote Dustin Dopirak of the Indianapolis Star.

The Indiana Pacers medical team decided to clear Tyrese Haliburton to play in Game 7 of the NBA Finals despite an existing calf strain and that blunder resulted in a torn Achilles tendon.

The doctors didn't think that Haliburton was going to suffer the devastating injury after he played in Game 6.
