The Tampa Bay Buccaneers started the year off right with a win in their first preseason game against the Tennessee Titans, winning the game 16-7 at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday.

Cam Ward led a touchdown drive in his preseason debut, a 29-7 Titans loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 9 at Raymond James Stadium. Ward was 5-for-8 for 67 yards, with all the completions coming in the second drive (following an opening drive three-and-out). Tennessee scored on the drive via a Tony Pollard 1-yard touchdown run.

The Buccaneers defeated the Titans, 29-7, with Tennessee’s only score coming on a short Tony Pollard touchdown run in the second quarter. Ward completed five of eight passes for 67 yards in his NFL debut. The Titans are back on the road for Week 2 of the preseason next week against the Atlanta Falcons.
