Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said in a recent interview that the studio plans to recast the X-Men characters when the superhero team gets its own MCU movie.

The reboot will unify the MCU into a singular timeline, allowing Marvel to recast legacy characters like Iron Man and Captain America. Feige compared the process to other iconic franchises: “They’re looking for a new James Bond. David Corenswet is the new Superman, and he’s been incredible. That’s always how it works”.
