Both Louis Foster and Felix Rosenqvist were passengers after Foster’s suspension broke in a violent crash Sunday at the Detroit Grand Prix. Both drivers were released from the medical center. Rosenqvist was put on a stretcher (sitting up) after the accident and said he just had some pain in his knee.
Palou was not the only one whose race was stopped abruptly. On lap 83, Felix Rosenqvist and Louis Foster had a hard crash, leading to a red flag. Foster frustratedly explained the suspension of the car and the course’s conditions were the reason for the crash.
