Andy Byron, the CEO of Astronomer who was caught in an embrace at a Coldplay concert with the company’s chief people officer Kristin Cabot, has resigned his position. Astronomer, which is a private data infrastructure and operations company, announced the move on social media Saturday, a day after it announced both were on leave.
Alongside Byron and Cabot, Stoddard's name started doing the rounds as users claimed she knew of the alleged affair.
"Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently serving as interim CEO given Andy Byron has been placed on leave," a spokesperson for Astronomer told PEOPLE on Friday, July 18. "We will share more details as appropriate in the coming days."
