Firefighters are starting to gain ground against the Lee Fire burning in Rio Blanco and Garfield counties, which has grown to become the fifth-largest wildfire in Colorado history.

The Lee fire — raging southwest of Meeker, Colorado — grew to 113,378 acres by Monday morning, according to a social media post by the Rio Blanco County Sheriff's Office.
