A man was gored and seven others lightly injured on Tuesday, the second day of Pamploma's San Fermin festival in which thousands of people line the mediaeval city's narrow streets for the centuries-old tradition of running with bulls.

The nine-day festival is famed for its “encierros,” or bull runs, which, starting on Monday, will see thousands of people sprint to avoid six bulls charging along a winding cobblestoned route to the city’s bullring.
