A discovery this massive wasn’t supposed to be possible. New spectrographic scans of the interstellar object 31 ATLAS reveal it contains over 33 billion tons of pure nickel one of the rarest and most valuable metals in the galaxy and it’s glowing. The scans, conducted using infrared and gamma-ray spectroscopy, show concentrated layers of highly refined nickel spread across the object’s inner crust. But this isn’t ordinary metal. It’s radiating light, generating a heat signature far too strong fo
